Night Moves; a tribute to Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band was started in August of 2007. Lead Singer & Seger look alike- Jack Parkhurst, after previously fronting another Seger tribute (Silver Bullet) from Kansas City, decided to start a tribute to Seger from his hometown of
Cassopolis, MI. This tribute would be totally dedicated to replicating the sights & sounds of a ‘70's Bob Seger concert.In the course of our preparation, we discovered a lot of relevancy in Bob’s music to our own lives & experiences. We felt that it was a ‘Sign’ that this was our calling. Three weeks after forming, our first venture out of the basement as Night Moves’ was a battle of the bands, in Sturgis, MI. We took first place, for a $1000 cash prize. Another sign?? We love bringing Bob Seger’s music back to his fans, and allowing the people we play for, the opportunity to see what a Bob Seger concert was like back in the 70's heyday.
From the start, we wanted to make this a traveling road show. To take the music beyond our local scene, and entertain a larger audience. We have played for all types of venue’s, including bars, clubs, service clubs, bike events, charity events, fairs & festivals. All were good times, and we look forward to all the good times to come.

The Shovelhead Saloon is located at 2898 U.S. Hwy 70 in Black Mtn., NC.
We are a biker bar owned and operated by bikers. Bikers, not biker gangs. For those of you not familiar with bikers, we are just regular people who like to ride. We come from all walks of life. Our clientele ranges from the average laborer to doctors. Let's just say we're closer to the heros than the villians in the movie Wild Hogs.
