The Tater Family Traveling Circus rolls in to the Town Pump for a post-Turkey day celebration. TATER has been a long-standing tradition at the Town Pump Tavern and they are returning with a twist.
Shelby, NC native, Luke Edwards, once served as singer, guitarist, and 
songwriter for regional favorite band, Tater. Luke is now performing solo shows comprised of his songs from Tater, as well as new material. Luke is also performing with his new band, "The Tater Family Travelling Circus".
"Music is, and pretty much always has been, my life. I joined my first band as a bass player when I was in sixth grade. Since that first jam session, there have been many bands, covering everything from heavy metal to bluegrass. My two most successful efforts have been the 90's metal band, "Animal Bag", which released a couple of albums on Mercury Records, and my latest alt-country/bluegrass band, "Tater". 
Now 40 years of age, the one thing I have never attempted in my musical career is a solo project, so, here we go!" --- Luke Edwards
The Travelling Circus, comprised of Luke on vocals, guitars, and banjo; Jonathan Bowling on bass. Corbett Richards on drums and percussion; and Nick Patterson on guitar and harp, delivers a different spin on the material from the Tater era, as well as new original music.
