Paul Edelman and The Jangling Sparrows feature roots rock and Americana at its finest: songs about cars, trains, road trips, and the Civil War, with hooks and melodies that haunt you lik
e a housecat's eyes.Paul Edelman originally came out of the Philly music scene. Paul was a Boxcar, a Butcher Holler Boy and lead guitar for Naked Omaha, three of the hottest tickets in town, simultaneously.Sharing bills with Big Sandy, Marah, Drive by Truckers, The Bottlerockets, The Sadies, Niko Case Edelman and his various bands developed a strong regional following. It was no surprise then when Paul busted out on his own with the Jangling Sparrows, he was selling out the World Cafe and sharing bills with James McMurtry, Robert Earl Keen and Langhorn Slim.
Since relocating to the Blue Ridge Mountains The jangling Sparrow's heavy hitting songwriting has already been met with an outstanding reception at some of the most respected venues in the area and radio in the region.
